Diagnostics

The cornerstone of diagnostics is a good medical history (history of the disease). This is often sufficient to make the correct diagnosis. We also have numerous modern instruments at our disposal to make a reliable diagnosis.
  • Spirometry (lung function)
  • Long-term blood pressure and long-term ECG measurement
  • Sonography of the abdominal organs of the bladder and thyroid gland
  • Sonography of the neck vessels and peripheral veins
  • Laboratory tests of all kinds by our partner laboratory
    • Blood diagnostics also in our own laboratory (with results after 15 minutes)
    • Swabs for microbiology
    • Stool and urine diagnostics
    • Rapid tests such as SARS-CoV-2 RSV and influenza test
    • SARS-CoV-2 PCR
  • Cardisiography to detect circulatory disorders in the heart muscle (HZV members, private or IGeL)
  • FeNO measurements to assess the risk of asthma (private or IGeL)
  • Bicycle ergometry (exercise ECG)
  • Resting ECG and ABI measurement
  • Use of questionnaires for the screening and progression of chronic diseases
